After graduating, he continued to contribute to the sport, driven by a desire to give back to the community that had supported his development. His experience highlighted the importance of proper training, nutrition, and preparation, which he sought to impart to others in the athletic field.
Zach graduated from Elon in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Event Management and a minor in Exercise Sports Science, a subject that had captured his interest since high school. Soon after, he began his professional career as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for Football at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, applying his education to help athletes reach their potential.
Career Shift Into Sales
In 2019, Zach Duprey took a new direction by moving to Indiana and entering the sales domain as an Onsite Specialist. His prior experience in coaching proved invaluable, helping him establish relationships and provide education on the use of advanced medical technologies. His proficiency led to a rapid promotion to Regional Associate Sales Representative, where he was responsible for equipment servicing, supporting clinical end users, and creating a central regional database to enhance information distribution to sales representatives across multiple states.
Zachary later transitioned into a Sales Design and Consultant role, assisting customers with renovating or constructing critical healthcare spaces like operating rooms and Cath Labs. This role allowed him to extensively support Indiana's healthcare providers and gain a deeper insight into the medical industry.
Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, Duprey enjoys spending time outdoors, especially golfing, a sport he is particularly fond of. He also has a talent for cooking, with a specific interest in smoking and curing meats.
